Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to senior management on all legal matters affecting the organization.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organization's interests and minimize legal risks.
- Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and coordinate litigation matters, including working with external counsel and representing the organization in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, human resources, and operations, to address legal issues and support business objectives.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues as needed.
