The KYC Verification Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards by verifying customer identities, assessing the legitimacy of transactions, and mitigating risks associated with fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Verification
o Perform KYC due diligence for onboarding new customers and periodically review existing customer profiles.
o Verify customer-provided documents such as identification, proof of address, and financial statements.

2. Compliance
o Maintain detailed records of KYC checks and decisions in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

3. Data Management
o Accurately input customer information and updates into internal systems.
o Ensure all customer data is handled securely and confidentially.

4. Collaboration
o Work closely with internal teams such as compliance, risk, and operations to address customer issues.
o Communicate with customers to clarify discrepancies and resolve any documentation-related issues.

5. Reporting
o Prepare and submit reports on KYC activities, flagged accounts, and compliance efforts.
o Keep management informed of emerging risks or non-compliance trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in KYC, compliance, or risk management roles.
• Strong understanding of KYC
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication in English and Malayalam and interpersonal abilities.
