Position: HR Manager

Job Summary

The Manager—Human Resources (HR) will be responsible for overseeing and managing various HR functions within the company. These include recruitment and staffing, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, compliance with labor laws, and taxation. The role requires a strong focus on developing and maintaining a positive company culture, ensuring alignment between HR practices and business goals, and enhancing employee engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and offers.

Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.


Employee Relations:

Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.

Promote positive employee relations and foster a healthy work environment.

Handle disciplinary actions, terminations, and conflict resolution fairly and consistently.


Performance Management:

Implement and manage the performance appraisal system to drive a high-performance culture.

Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and effective evaluations.

Provide coaching and guidance to managers on setting goals and evaluating employee performance.

Collaborate with department managers to identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.

Guide managers on setting clear expectations and conducting performance reviews.


Training and Development:

Assess training needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions for employees.

Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.


Compensation and Benefits:

Administer the company’s compensation and benefits programs.

Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts.

Assist in evaluating and benchmarking compensation packages to remain competitive.

Collaborate with department heads to design performance-based compensation plans.


Compliance and Policy Management:

Ensure compliance with local labor laws, taxation and regulations.

Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures per legal requirements.

Maintain up-to-date records of employee contracts, benefits, and other HR documentation.

Ensure adherence to payroll tax laws, including income tax, and other statutory deductions.

Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments in payroll systems.

Ensure all compensation and benefits align with employment contracts and company policies.


Employee Engagement and Well-being:

Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.

Organize regular employee feedback surveys and focus groups to assess engagement levels and identify areas for improvement.

Plan and coordinate team-building activities and events to strengthen team cohesion and collaboration.

Organize employee wellness programs and events to promote a balanced work-life culture.

Foster an inclusive and diverse workplace through various HR initiatives.

Maintain open channels of communication to ensure employees feel heard and valued.

Actively address employee concerns and grievances to improve the workplace experience.

Regularly communicate company updates, policies, and achievements to keep employees informed and engaged.

Ensure the workplace adheres to health and safety standards, providing a secure environment for employees.

Design a positive offboarding experience for exiting employees to ensure they leave as ambassadors of the organization.


Reporting and Analysis:

Maintain accurate HR records, including employee data, leave records, and performance metrics.

Prepare and present HR reports to senior management on staffing, employee performance, and other HR metrics.

Monitor HR trends and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Analyze employee data to track turnover rates, absenteeism, and overall employee satisfaction.
