The CEO of a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) plays a pivotal role in its management and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

o Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, aligning it with the mission, vision, and objectives.

o Provide strategic direction to all departments, ensuring coherence and synergy across the organization.

2. Financial Product Innovation:

o Lead the development and implementation of innovative financial products and services tailored to meet the evolving needs of the education sector (or any other specific sector, depending on the NBFC’s focus)

3. Administration and Operations:

o Oversee all activities related to the management, operation, and development of the NBFC.

o Report directly to the NBFC’s board and take charge of the entire administration.

4. Pre-Formation Responsibilities:

o Act as the principal advisor to the board during NBFC formation.

o Provide advice on market segments, risk management, compliance, and other necessary planning aspects.

o Prepare well-founded and documented advice on NBFC formation strategy.

5. Post-Formation Duties:

o Develop an appropriate management structure within the NBFC.

o Assist the board in defining the mission and vision.

o Prepare long-term plans, including portfolio growth, cash flows, and market trends.

o Ensure cost-effective operations and propose annual budgets.

6. Human Resources and Organizational Development:

o Recruit and motivate NBFC personnel.

o Establish HR policies and document responsibilities for employees.

7. Operational Goals:

o Achieve targeted profitability and fee income.

o Meet sales targets for assigned portfolios.

o Acquire new clients, retain existing ones, and build strong networks.
